I had to put on my own brackets on the outside. The crossbar is all of a joke the small aluminum brackets broke within one adjustment of the bar. If you have a sliding screen door there is a good chance it will not work with the round top screws. The instructions are pretty tough to follow, the main door part is decent quality but not low profile at all.
